It was reported on Thursday that the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra was sentenced to life imprisonment for terrorism by the Federal High Court in Abuja. Reacting to his imprisonment, Chief Priest informed Tinubu that he would never receive 10,000 votes from the South East in 2027 if Nnamdi remained in jail.
